Dragon Hoquei
Game Overview
This is a two-player turn-based game where players take turns moving their dice/pucks toward their respective goals. The objective is to be the first to score a certain number of points (default is 5) by getting your pucks into your goal.
How to Play
1. Setup: Each player starts with their own set of pucks.
- Player 1 controls the "Res" pucks
- Player 2 controls the "Green" pucks
2. Taking Turns: Players alternate turns.
- Each turn has a time limit (10 seconds)
- On your turn, you must move one of your pucks
3. Moving Pucks:
- For human players: Click on one of your pucks. The direction of movement is determined by where you click on the puck - it will move away from the point where you clicked.
- For computer players (AI): The computer automatically selects a puck and moves it toward its goal.
4. Scoring:
- When a player successfully moves their puck into their designated goal, they score a point
- The scoring puck is removed from play
- After scoring, the same player gets to move again
5. Turn End Conditions:
- After moving a puck (without scoring), your turn ends automatically after 2 seconds
- If your turn timer runs out before you move, your turn ends
- If you have no pucks left, your turn ends
6. Winning Conditions:
- The first player to reach the target score (default 5 points) wins
- If a player has no pucks left but has scored at least one point while the opponent still has pucks, that player wins by elimination
- If a player has no pucks left and hasn't scored, while the opponent has scored, the opponent wins by elimination
Controls
- Use the mouse to click on your pucks when it's your turn
- The game includes an options menu at the start and a game over screen at the end
Game Elements
- Pucks/Dados: The movable game pieces for each player
- Goals: Target areas where players aim to get their pucks
- Timer: Shows the remaining time for the current turn
- Score Display: Shows each player's current score
- Turn Indicator: Shows which player's turn it is
Physics-based movement adds an element of skill, as players need to judge the right amount of force and direction to get their pucks into the goal without overshooting.
